GRDiscovery and Dr. Ahmed Mansour Announce Strategic Collaboration to Promote Egyptian Cultural Heritage
GRDiscovery is pleased to announce the beginning of its collaboration with Dr. Ahmed Mansour, one of Egypt’s distinguished Egyptologists and heritage specialists.
As part of this collaboration, Dr. Mansour will serve as the official “Egypt Correspondent & Cultural Contributor of GRDiscovery”, providing original monthly articles and insights covering Egyptian history, archaeology, cultural heritage, museums, archives, manuscripts, and contemporary developments in the field of Egyptology.
With more than two decades of experience in research and institutional leadership at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Dr. Mansour has established himself as a leading authority in Ancient Egyptian archaeology, epigraphy, writing systems, historical mining expeditions, and ancient metallurgy.
His work bridges traditional archaeological research with digital humanities, heritage documentation, and the application of modern technologies in cultural preservation and conservation.
In 2022, he served as a Visiting Scholar at the Egypt Exploration Society in London, conducting research across numerous museums, libraries, and archaeological collections throughout the United Kingdom.
Today, Dr. Mansour leads efforts to preserve and study the archives of Ahmed Pasha Kamal, one of the pioneers of Egyptology, while actively contributing to international heritage communication and public engagement initiatives.
The collaboration forms part of GRDiscovery’s broader strategy to build an international network of scholars, researchers, cultural institutions, and heritage professionals dedicated to promoting knowledge, intercultural dialogue, and public understanding of world civilizations.
In addition to the editorial partnership, both parties are exploring future cooperation in documentary production, cultural research, heritage documentation, and international cultural initiatives.
